BUSINESS EXPANSION LOAN PROGRAM
Community Development Homepage
The Business Expansion Loan Program (BELP) was launched by the Partnership for Neighborhood Improvement and the City of Knoxville's Community Development Department in April 2009. The program is aimed at the 16-square-mile Empowerment Zone (EZ) in the central city.

This is a revolving loan program for business expansion and commercial building improvements for businesses located within the EZ and area businesses willing to relocate into or expand in the EZ. Loans will be made for the purpose of providing gap financing to make projects feasible.

Applications will be taken as long as funding is available.
