Knoxville Area Transit has several different routes going through UT on weekdays, and even more go right by on Cumberland Ave.  KAT's system of routes can take you from UT to just about anywhere in the city you want to go: parks, grocery stores, movies, shopping, dining, school and more!

The "T" services operate fare-free, so getting around ON campus is not only easy, it's free. UT passes also allow UT students and faculty to use KAT's regular routes at a discounted rate. For more information on the UT pass, click here.

NOTE: As of January 20, 2009, UT passes are NOT valid on Express routes. You can purchase 20-ride Express Passes from the UT Central Ticket office. Additionally, UT employees who use express routes to ride from Ag Campus to downtown can still do so with a 50-cent "local" fare.
