KAT offers Paratransit LIFT service for those persons who are unable to use regular fixed-route buses.
How the LIFT Service Works
First, You MUST be certified by KAT.
How to become Certified as a LIFT Rider
Call 215-7850 to have an application mailed to you

which you can fill out and mail back to KAT
All LIFT passengers must keep their certification current and re-apply every two years
Service is by reservation only--Call the LIFT office at 215-7850. Trips may be booked up to 14 days in advance, but we recommend at least 7 days. Trips for next day service should be called in by 4 p.m. the day before service is required.
Be ready several minutes early and have your fare ready--
The cost for the service is $3.00 each way ($6.00 round-trip).
