Passport service is provided in the following Knox County Clerk locations only.

Important Notice: In order to process a Marriage License or Driver’s License, the Knox County Clerk's office asks that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to office closing time.
In order to obtain a Passport you must bring:

1. A Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate (No photocopies are accepted)
2. A valid Driver License or State Identification
3. Two (2) Checks or Money Orders (See fees)
4. Two (2) official Passport Photos (Passport photos can be obtained onsite.)

All applicants must apply in person for a Passport.

Special Requirements for Children Under Age 16 - Minor children must apply in person. All children regardless of age (including newborns and infants) must have their own passport.
