Tyson Park's 14 tennis courts have recently
been resurfaced.
West Knoxville
Directions: To get to the southern entrance of the park,
go west on Cumberland Avenue past University of Tennessee's campus;
after going under the overpass the park entrance will be on the
right. To get to the western entrance of the park, go west on Cumberland
Avenue at the Neyland Drive and Concord Street intersect; turn right
onto Concord Street; park entrance will be on your right.

Residing near the University of Tennessee's campus in Downtown-West Knoxville, Tyson Park provides a wide array of recreational opportunities to Knoxvillians. Third Creek Greenway, which connects to Neyland and Bearden Greenways, is a popular place to run, walk, bike or pass through the park.
The park boasts one of Knoxville's largest accessible playgrounds, two softball fields, 14 tennis courts, 3 large shelters, and accessible restrooms. Tyson Park is also slated to be the site for Knoxville's first skate park, due for completion in 2007.
PARK RULES & REGULATIONS:
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users,
the following are prohibited
No alcoholic beverages No firearms
No open fires
No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
No motorized vehicles in park
No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles. 5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
